In-flight entertainment design

Mezzo offers bespoke services that deliver increased profit for travel operators. We provide passenger entertainment on Portable Media Players (PMP) and Fixed Media Players (FMP) and all the support services necessary to ensure that it is reliable and successful for all airlines, ferries, coach, and train operators.

MezCo^™ Entertainment System

The MezCo^™ Entertainment System semi-embedded product comes with a rich feature set to ensure that it meets with the stringent requirements set by airlines today. It also supports the changing landscape of the industry with features such as wireless support, easy content loading, and the ability to be powered by long-life battery or from in-seat power. And with capacitive touch screen to give a user interface akin to the Apple iPad or separate controller support, you know that your passengers will be truly delighted.

The Media Engine for the MezCo^™ Entertainment System comes in a number of variations and is highly customisable, based on specific customer requirements. These include a range of screen sizes: 5” – 19” External USB port for screen mimic support. The Media Engine can be mounted in the seat back, in a pouch, or on a seat arm, depending on the seat configuration.

We worked with Mezzo and Unomee to come up with an interactive design for this In-flight entertainment system. The user interface had to be designed for a touch screen and have usability at the core of everything that was designed. The interface was tested as various stages throughout the process to give us a product that was always easy to use.
